Instructions for use:
The Halifax Groin Harness provides excellent control of extensor thrust and adductor spasm, it also helps to prevent the user sliding forward. The harness can be used in conjunction with our lap strap providing a more stable base for the pelvis.

  1. Place harness on chair with buckles on the padded forked straps underneath.
  2. Anchor the cushioned area of the Halifax groin harness to the chair with the twin webbing straps and buckle.
  3. Seat the user on the cushion, the forked padded straps are then passed between the legs and brought up and over the thighs and then locked by the quick release buckles attached to the rear of the chair, checking for fit and comfort of the client.

NB. These items should be fitted under clinical supervision. Locating points may differ on various wheelchairs.
